    HPI Site Update

    The Horseplayer  Interactive (HPI) website has resumed normal operation.

    For a brief period (on Thurs, Feb. 24) anyone attempting to access the site had to go to http://hpibet.com instead of http://horseplayerinteractive.com.

    Both web addresses are now fully functional.

    2011 Harness Season Update (dated Aug. 19, 2010)

    Two minor changes to the 2010 harness season at Fraser Downs have been confirmed in a letter from Derek Sturko, Chair of the BC Horse Racing Industry Management Committee

    Fraser Downs has added Oct. 1, 2, 8 and 9, 2010 to the racing calendar. The track also dropped two days (Dec. 17 and 19, 2010) from its calendar.

    2011 Harness Season Clarified

    A proposal to eliminate all standardbred race dates in 2011 is a temporary measure, says Derek Sturko, Chair of the BC Horse Racing Industry Management Committee.

    In a letter to industry participants, Sturko says Great Canadian Gaming Corporation (operator of Fraser Downs) "needs to carefully consider" the 2011 harness racing season at Fraser Downs.
